Advice From a President – Work Hard, Live Free

The following words from great American President Calvin Coolidge represent a profound truth: Freedom is being able to enjoy the rewards your work produces.

His wisdom is perhaps even more true and relevant today as so many forces seek to captivate not only our senses and our wallets, but eventually our freedom.

“I want the people of America to be able to work less for the government and more for themselves. I want them to have the rewards of their own industry. This is the chief meaning of freedom.

Until we can reestablish a condition under which the earnings of the people can be kept by the people, we are bound to suffer a very severe and distinct curtailment of our liberty.”

― Calvin Coolidge

Coolidge knew the enslaving power debt has on individuals

, businesses, and governments. He used this knowledge to shape his beliefs and policies. When we control our own money, we are free to do amazing things with it.

When I took control of my money, instead of sending it off to

Sally Mae, I was able to do some pretty great stuff for myself and others. Do you know many 25 year-olds who can take a month-long honeymoon then start a business? That is the power of working hard and living free like Coolidge envisioned. Don’t let debt hold you back from the freedom that is possible – destroy it, and start doing something awesome!

Let’s do some amazing things together! Get control of your money, and share what you will do to make this world a more free, bountiful, and exciting place.
